The South Wales Gay Men’s Chorus was formed in February 2008. Our members hail from across south Wales (and beyond) and we pride ourselves on providing a friendly, inclusive and welcoming environment in which to make music and have a great time.

We began in 2008, and have become a recognised part of the gay community in Cardiff and south Wales. We sing everything from traditional male voice choir pieces, to show tunes and modern classics.

In more normal times, we rehearse on a Thursday evening in Cardiff, and regularly socialise both in and away from the gay scene. Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, we now socialise and keep in touch with each other virtually.

If you would like more information or are interested in joining us, please contact us at or click on the Contact page. You don’t need to be a trained singer and we don’t audition.
